Editorial policy
How we check facts, fix mistakes and keep our advice independent.
Accuracy
Regulations, license prices and stocking data are checked against the official source and dated. Regulation tables are verified by two editors every season.
Corrections
Found an error? Email [email protected]. Corrections are logged at the bottom of the affected page with the date.
AI use
We use software to process government datasets and to help draft data-driven sections. Every published page is reviewed by a named editor; reviews and advice are written by people who fished with the gear or water.
Independence
Affiliate income never influences picks. Advertisers have no input into content.
Angler reports
Reports are moderated and shown at lake level only — we never publish exact spots.
