FAQ

What rod length should I choose?

Longer rods cast farther and handle long lines and bobbers; shorter rods are more accurate when casting to cover and easier to use in a small boat or on a narrow stream.

Should I use braid, mono or fluorocarbon?

Braid has no stretch and the most sensitivity, mono stretches and floats, and fluorocarbon sinks and is harder for fish to see. Many anglers fish braid with a fluorocarbon leader.
