How this tool works
Stocking records load weekly from WDFW (data.wa.gov fish plants), NYSDEC (data.ny.gov stocking lists) and Texas Parks and Wildlife stocking history. We never publish more date precision than the agency does: New York reports the month and Texas the year.

Why does a search show older stocking?
When nothing matching was stocked within the window you chose, the finder shows the most recent matching stocking on record with its date, so you can see when the water was last stocked.
Which states are covered?
Washington, New York and Texas, whose agencies publish stocking records we can load. Agencies publish on their own schedules, so a recent stocking can take time to appear.
